Today, I'm continuing my conversation with Amber Monaco and we're going to dive into how she went from careers in the military and with the Department of Homeland Security, that once involved working as a paralegal in Iraq helping to build cases against terrorist, to now being a full-time digital nomad.

We're going to talk about the two business that allow her to live a full-time international travel lifestyle and why she loves co-working spaces so much.

This week's guest is Jeff Rasley and, today, he has some very interesting travel stories for us; including the time he woke up in a hospital in Mexico with an armed guard outside his room and learned he was under arrest without knowing why.

We also hear about his experiences hitching across the United States for six weeks (with only $65 dollars in his pocket) when he was fresh out of high school and the time he and his then-girlfriend accidentally wandered onto a military base in Greece.

Tune in to hear these stories and more!

This week's Friday episode is a special treat! Former guest, Kathleen Ventura, is back on the show one year (almost to the exact day) after her first appearance to give us an update on what's changed in her life.

I'm incredibly honored to say, in this episode, she publicly announces for the first time a major shift she's making in her business. I'll be the first to say, I can't wait to see where this new direction will take her.

If you haven't listened to Kathleen's original appearance yet, both of the episodes are linked in the show notes.

In today's special episode, I'm doing another Living Unconventionally Facebook Community Member Spotlight.

Today's spotlight is on Mimi Schector and we talk about her epic 5-week trek across the African Serengeti as part of a documentary for National Geographic in which she was starved (less than 400 calories/day while walking for 6-8 hours each day), chased by wild animals, and forced to swim across crocodile-infested waters.

We also talk about how she's currently finding the balance between working a "stable" corporate job and experiencing the adventure she craves.

When Dell was last on the show ten months ago, she was about to start filming a documentary about her journey traveling the Trail of Tears water route in reverse in order to connect with her Native American heritage.

Today, we're going to hear about how the events at Standing Rock changed the course of her life these past several months and get an update on her documentary.
